Here is a quick and easy description of what you MIGHT do on this project:
We are inviting anyone who loves the arts to participate, ANYWHERE IN CANADA, in groups, in pairs, any way at all. It is as easy as:
- You and a friend/daughter/colleague go to a streetcorner, park, mall in your community.
- One of you reads, sings, dances, plays the fiddle…
- The other holds a poster that says: “art is your story”, and also (if you like) information about this website, which has links to good information about the arts in Canada: www.artisyourstory.wordpress.com
NEW! Download a POSTER to use, and a sheet of FLYERS to hand out - You go home. If you feel like sharing, post a note about your event on the Your Story page

Anything else is up to your group, but if you don’t have one you can still do this! At Queen’s Drama, we plan to document our performances, placing pins on a large wall map of Kingston and recording the title of the work of art, the name of the artist and the name of the performer. If you have other ideas, send them to us!
